Growing Bromeliads Indoors

Bromeliads make great indoor plants and take very little care

there are a few things to remember because Bromeliads hold water it is best if once a week or fortnight that you take the plant outside and give a gentle hose out this will reduce any smell from the water in the plant and also helps the plant breath as dust can build up on the leaves

you need to find a spot that has early morning or late sun/light. if it is to dark any colour in the leaves will grow out normally to a darker green colour

also as there is no wind etc... to dry plant out, be very sparing with water do not sit in a dish of water. Bromeliads are part of the air plant family and do not like to sit in water.

if you were going to fertilize use a very small amount of "Thrive" as this does not smell like seaweed base fertilizer
