De-Flasking

first you will need a dedicated spot to grow your baby plants. approx 80-90% shade out of the weather so you can control watering etc..... under a pergola or veranda is fine

You Will Need

  • potting mix (medium)
  • pots
  • 1 x ice cream container
  • Gloves
  • A packet of Fongarid (make up as per directions on packet, most hardware/nurseries stock this in small packets)
  • some paper towel

Place some paper towel down near a tap, open flask and gently shake out baby plants into your hand. Gently pull some plants out and put remaining plants on paper

DEFLASKING ORCHID STEP ONE

Gently put plants under running water and jiggle all jelly from plants.

DEFLASKING ORCHIDS STEP 2
